Usage is billed on the work Lui does, from a balance you top up. A short question costs less than a long job, and a check that finds nothing costs nothing. The $20 on a new account is the way to see what your own jobs cost before you put money in.

- Your usage counts against the plan's included amount, and Settings shows how much is used.
- Go over, and you get a warning, then 10% of grace at no charge, then Lui pauses until you choose. Move up a plan or add a top-up.
- Move up mid-month and what you already paid for that month counts toward the new plan. You never pay for the same month twice.
- Unused usage does not roll over. Change or cancel a plan at any time; it takes effect at the next billing date.

How is usage counted?
On the work it does: each message you send, each scheduled run that finds something to do, each email Lui reads. A short question costs less than a long job, and a check that finds nothing costs nothing. Settings shows every line as it happens.
Does the balance expire?
No. A pay-as-you-go balance stays until it is used. A plan's included usage is per month and does not roll over.
What happens when the balance reaches zero?
Lui pauses scheduled work and tells you, and a chat message says what to do. Top up or pick a plan, and it carries on where it stopped. On a plan there is 10% of grace first.
Can I set a limit?
The balance is the limit. Lui can only spend what you have put on the account. On a plan, the included amount plus the grace is the limit.
Which plan am I?
Start on the trial. Lui reads your usage and tells you which plan fits; a plan whose included usage is below what you run is not offered. Change plan from Settings, or email us and we set it up.
