Create your account, open Settings, and the Extensiv card walks you through them one screen at a time, with a Help me button beside it. Lui can also talk you through them in the chat.
In 3PL Warehouse Manager, create a customer user for LogisticsUI (for example "LogisticsUI Integration") and assign it the customers Lui may see. Its login is the user login below.
Open Support > Support Portal > Manage Credentials > Create New Credential, choose External REST/Developer, tick All Customer Credential, and tick the roles: CustomerView, FacilityView, InventoryDetailView, ItemView, OrderView, ReceiverView, ReadPropertiesThirdParty (and OrderEdit, OrderWrite, ReceiverEdit, ItemEdit for Lui to create and change orders, receivers and items). Save. Only the Support Portal super user sees Manage Credentials, and only when your Extensiv plan includes the API package. Extensiv bills API use by monthly data tier.
Paste the client id and client secret the credential shows.
After connecting, the card shows the webhook address to paste in Customers > Event Notifications. Disconnecting here does not remove that webhook in Extensiv; delete it there too.
Questions about connecting Extensiv
What does it need from Extensiv?
A REST API credential from your Support Portal (Manage Credentials, Create New Credential, External REST/Developer) with All Customer Credential ticked, and a customer user for it to act as. Only the Support Portal super user sees Manage Credentials, and only when your Extensiv plan includes the API package.
One connection for all my customers?
Yes. The credential covers every warehouse customer, and each question or order names the customer, the way it does in CartonCloud.
Does it cost anything on the Extensiv side?
Extensiv bills API use to the 3PL by monthly data tier. Lui reads only what a question or a rule needs, and takes changes from Extensiv's webhooks instead of asking over and over, to keep that small.
Does Lui change orders on its own?
Creating, changing, cancelling and confirming orders and receivers each show you what will change and wait for your yes. Lui never stamps invoice numbers or deletes customers.
What does Lui store?
The credentials you gave it, encrypted, and a working copy of what the system reports so questions come back fast. Nothing is used to train a model and nothing is shown to another customer.
How do I disconnect it?
From Settings, with one click on the card, or by asking Lui in the chat. The stored keys or tokens are deleted when you do.
